Lauren Chasczewski is a mixed-media artist creating through intuitive flow and chance, making work that displays a dreamlike state in alignment with bodily and emotional impulses. Her practice of spontaneous gesture and automatic drawing reflects her truest self, presenting an unfiltered lens into her psyche. Inspired by the work of Georges Bataille and Sigmund Freud, her passion for philosophy is the foundation of her artistic practice today.
She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts with a focus in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2023 and has continued her practice in the city since.
